Obinna Ukachukwu

Obinna is a business growth expert. His decade long experience in SME developmental finance, Retail Banking Sales, Supply Chain Finance, Credit analysis, Sales and Business Banking has given him an edge in identifying growth opportunities in businesses and developing new markets. His leadership skills have been honed over the years, through direct leadership roles, mentoring and formal education.

Obinna is the Executive in charge of business development and growth at Hygeia HMO limited, Nigeria’s foremost health management company. He leverages his current position to create various channels and partnerships that enables the effective distribution of health insurance services and to create various methods to improve access to finance for operators in the health sector. He recently founded Accelerate African Ventures GTE/LTD (www.acceleratenigeria.com) a platform built to mentor and support the growth of budding African businesses.

He was the Country Head of SME banking in StanbicIBTC Bank (Standard Bank Nigeria). In his role, he provided leadership for the bank as they sought to grow emerging businesses in Nigeria. Standard bank is the largest bank in Africa and its reach gave Obinna vast regional and global exposure in the business of SME Finance and Banking

Obinna has a Bachelors in Electrical Electronic Engineering, he also holds a global MBA (Finance) from the Manchester Business School; he has the Retail banking certification from the Retail Banking Academy (London), and has been involved in various developmental courses both in Africa and internationally.

Oluwafunke Amobi is the Country Head, Human Capital for Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc. (A member of the Standard Bank Group).

As Country Head of Human Capital, Funke has the responsibility for leading, defining and managing the Nigeria Human Capital strategy and the delivery of HC services, policies and programs across the Nigerian business. She is known for astutely aligning the Human Capital strategy to the Business strategy as well as shaping and driving organizational culture and employee engagement to improve business performance. Under her Leadership of the HR function, Stanbic IBTC has been consistently recognized with multiple awards for HR best practices in Nigeria; most notably the CIPM Best Practice Award for two consecutive years 2016 & 2017 as well as the HR Magazine Outstanding Employee Engagement Strategy Award for three consecutive years 2016, 2017 & 2018. Previously, Victoria has worked for Chicken Republic a subsidiary of Food Concepts Plc, one of the largest QSR in Nigeria and Africa as a whole where she took on key HR role. She currently works as the Human Resource Manager with Manuchar Trading House Int’l Ltd with head office in Belgium and presence in over 50 countries.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and a Master’s degree in Management Science both from the University of Lagos. Till date, Victoria has helped over 1000 graduates gain critical job readiness skills as well as land their first employment opportunity. In addition, Victoria has been privileged to be recognized by Pan Atlantic-University as one of the top rising 50 Young Talents Professionals in Nigeria in 2019.

Jopelo currently leads Professional Development and Administration at McKinsey & Company, Lagos. In her role, she ensures that the best talents are deployed to the Firm’s client service efforts and supports career development of consultants through coaching, mentorship amongst other things.

Prior to moving into this role, Jopelo was part of the Firm’s client service team responsible for supporting business leaders on their top strategic priorities.
