Job Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that thecompany products comply with statutory regulatory requirement, meet relevantproduct specification and fit for customers’ use.
Job Responsibilities:
Obtaining representative samples from ocean tanker/vessels andconducting recertification testing for product quality verification.
Ensuring the quality data of requisite laboratory test conform tospecified product specification.
Ensure that correct Test methods are used for product qualityinspection.
Reviewing of statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatorystandards and trends in order to stay abreast of issues of quality control inthe industry.
Liaising with regulatory bodies and communicating quality controlinformation to all relevant organizational departments, customers andregulatory agencies
Ensuring quality assurance management of the product within the facility.
Monitoring performance of quality control systems to ensureeffectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure proper product documentation to establish products traceability.
Providing recommendations for action to the company on products qualityissues
Ensure retained samples are properly kept in a condition that maintainthe sample integrity.
Performing of other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree inChemistry, Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 4 years workexperience in a petroleum depot laboratory
Working experience withISO9001
Proficiencyinthe use of Microsoft (MS) Officepackage
