Job Description
Job Summary:
Thisposition is responsible for ensuring the company products meet requiredregulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate theobtaining of product samples and verification by laboratory
Ensure thequality control processes for the products received are completed according tospecification
Review ofstatistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trendsin order to stay abreast of issues of quality control in the industry.
Liaise withregulatory bodies and communicating quality control information to all relevantorganizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
Ensure qualityassurance of the product sold or bought
Monitorperformance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Investigatesuspicious activities that could affect the quality of the product sold orbought
Set up necessarymeasures to ensure product meets the right specification
Monitor thechanging of the filter to ensure adequate and timely replacement
Ensure thedraining of the tanks is completed according to schedule
Ensure allrequired Q.C procedures are completed before tank release
Monitor andsupervise all staff in quality control department
Providerecommendations for action to the company on quality control issues
Instruct staffin quality control and analytical procedures.
Perform otherduties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, ChemicalEngineering
Minimum of BSc. Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in similar role withat least 3 years’ experience in Managerial role with Petroleum laboratory experience
Professional Certification
Proficiencyinthe use of Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to multi-task, setpriorities and meet strict deadlines.
