Job Description
Job Summary:
Thejob holder is responsible for ensuring smooth running of the depot. Thisincludes but not limited to meeting up with customer commitments in a timelymanner, maintaining operational excellence (Bowser operations, Tank farmoperations, Quality control, HSE and maintenance of fixed and mobilefacilities), managing appropriate stock levels and loss management.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure thesmooth running of the depot in order to meet desired objectives
Maintainoperational excellence in all depot activities/operations (Bowser operations,Tank Farm Operations, Equipment maintenance- Fixed and Mobile etc.)
Ensure 100%compliance of all depots with all technical, regulatory requirements and safetystandards
Investigate andmitigate operational losses when/if they occur
Ensure effectiveand efficient product management and distribution
Organize andprepare for inspection and leading the audit team during internal/externalaudit
Relationshipmanagement with regulatory bodies and stakeholders
Handle urgentrequests for supplies by client representatives as appropriate
Minimize tobarest minimum, equipment downtime of fixed and mobile facilities, to preventnegative impact on customer commitments
Crisismanagement during equipment failure, product scarcity or any other relatedissues
Prepare dailyreports on stock levels and condition of equipment
Perform otherduties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree/ equivalent in Engineering orrelated Course/ five years’ experience in the aviation industry/related roles.
Minimum of 4 Years’ experience in Depot OperationsManagement
HealthSafety and Environment Certification is an added advantage
Proficiency inthe use of Microsoft Office Tools
